Praying Proverbs 31: Prayers for a Daughter's Virtue Review and Giveaway

Praying Proverbs 31 is about touching the hearts and lives of our daughters through praying Scripture. It is both a devotional book and prayer guide, taking the truths of Proverbs 31 and using those truths to pray more specifically for our little women. 

One passage a week, one prayer a day for 10 weeks covering issues that are at the heart of womanhood: A Valuable Virtue, A Pure Life, A Rewarding Work, A Heart for Home, and more.

Here's an example of Week 2; Day 1:

A Pure Life—Proverbs 31:11-12

May ____ remain both physically and emotionally pure. 

Father, may my daughter remain pure. In Your mercy, keep her from

temptation. Prevent her from having the opportunity to compromise her

purity. Give me wisdom and discernment to guard her emotionally as well

as physically, to keep her from situations that would test her beyond her

ability. Help me to successfully teach her to have discernment and to protect

herself. In our world, she will be so bombarded with temptation on every

side. It will be You, shepherding her away from those temptations, that will

help her to remain pure. And when, as Joseph, she is faced with temptation,

help her to view escape as wisdom and not cowardice.

List some specific ways or places your daughter may be tempted to compromise her purity. Keep in mind that emotional purity is at stake as well. Pray about specific ways to avoid those situations or to properly prepare her for them.

As a mother, I'm so thankful to Tracy for giving us a practical and ready opportunity to pray scripture over our girls; specifically Proverbs 31. 

I find that praying scripture over our children not only changes their lives, but ours. It also proves that God is still at work through the supplications and petitions of a mother's heart.
