I've learned a secret to accomplishing the thing you dream about doing. Simply begin. Begin with that first step. In fact, nothing happens without that first step.

You might begin by writing a short list of mothering goals for the new year. Keep it simple and realistic. It may look something like this:

ReplyDeleteIt is true, Jasmine! I had not heard about blogging other than there was something called a 'blog'. Odd name, I thought. When we got back from a month out of country last November (2010), I got this weird thought that I should 'blog' about some of the things I had learned over the last 35+ years of marriage and family. Well, our last 2 had graduated from our h.school, and i was wondering how the Lord might use me next. Actually, I was depressed about it. so I just DID it. I called up a friend whose son did websites on a shoestring and he did it for me. My daughter has taught me all I know and still does things I don't yet understand well. God is in it all, and I am just His little vessel.
